You should send your invitations out no less than 8 weeks before your wedding day to ensure your guests have enough time to make any necessary arrangements.
We personally recommend though sending them out 3-4 months in advance so that as many guests as possible are able to organise time off work, babysitters etc.
If your wedding is planned near Christmas, Seasonal or Bank Holidays or is a destination holiday we recommend sending them out even earlier to give guests enough time to book hotels, flights etc
To be totally sure many couples now send out ” Save the date” cards 6-8months before the big day as it encourages people to pencil it in to their diaries and keep the date free.
